# THE PROBLEM

The shoot used three cameras: an ARRI for the main interview, a Sony A7S III for B-roll, and an iPhone for behind-the-scenes content. That's three different codecs (ProRes, XAVC, HEVC), three different resolutions (4K, 4K, 1080p), and potentially three different frame rates (23.976, 24, 30). Premiere Pro's auto-sequence settings will pick whichever clip you drop first and build the sequence around it, which is almost never the right answer.

Getting this wrong causes problems that surface late. Mismatched frame rates mean stuttery playback or dropped frames on export. Wrong resolution means unnecessary scaling. Wrong codec priority means render times balloon. You discover these issues when the client points out the judder, or when your export takes three times longer than expected.

The camera metadata tells you exactly what each clip needs. The sequence settings should be a deliberate decision based on your delivery requirements, not a guess based on which clip happened to land on the timeline first.

## HOW YOU SOLVE IT WITH WIDEFRAME

01

Import all footage into Wideframe\
Bring in clips from every camera. Wideframe reads the codec, resolution, frame rate, and color space metadata from each file automatically.

02

Agent recommends sequence settings based on your deliverables\
Tell Wideframe your delivery specs, such as broadcast 1080p at 23.976, or web 4K at 30fps, or whatever the project calls for. The agent recommends sequence settings that match your output, not your most common input.

03

Review per-clip handling\
The agent shows you how each source format will be handled: which clips need frame rate interpretation, which need scaling, which are natively compatible. You approve or adjust before anything is built.

04

Export a .prproj with correct settings pre-configured\
The Premiere project opens with sequence settings matched to your deliverables, clips interpreted correctly, and scaling applied where needed. No trial and error, no surprise render issues at export time.
