THE PROBLEM
You've finished a rough cut and you're sending it to the director for review. You want to flag specific moments, scene transitions where you're unsure about the cut point, dialogue sections where you chose take 2 over take 3, an audio dropout at 04:22 that needs attention in the mix. Markers are the standard way to communicate this in Premiere Pro.
Placing markers manually means scrubbing through the sequence, stopping at each point, adding a marker, typing a note, and moving on. For a 15-minute rough cut with 20 or 30 flagged moments, that's 15 to 30 minutes of marker placement alone, tedious work at the end of a session when you're already tired and trying to get the cut out the door.
Some of these moments are judgment calls only you can make. But many are mechanical: scene boundaries, detected audio issues, sections where analysis flagged something worth a second look. Those shouldn't require manual placement.

HOW YOU SOLVE IT WITH WIDEFRAME
01
Define what you want marked Tell Wideframe what types of moments to flag: scene transitions, speaker changes, audio issues, low-confidence edit points, or specific content cues. You can also add your own manual markers on top.
02
Agent places markers across the sequence Wideframe's agent scans the sequence and places markers at each flagged moment, complete with descriptive labels. Scene transitions, audio problems, and analysis-driven flags are all positioned on the timeline.
03
Export with markers embedded in the .prproj Export to Premiere Pro. The markers show up natively in the timeline, color-coded and labeled. Your director or collaborator can jump between them using Premiere's standard marker navigation.
04
Add your own editorial notes Open in Premiere and add any subjective markers the AI couldn't place, creative choices, questions for the client, mix notes. The mechanical flagging is already done.
